Staying at Burrastow is like staying in someone's home rather than in a hotel. The breakfasts are legendary,with proper oatmeal porridge, home-baked croissants and maincourses including black pudding, kippers and local smoked fish.
It is our intention to get you to feel utterly relaxed and refreshed and at one with the world after a short stay with us at Burrastow.
The cook also decides himself daily what is set on the menu according to what's fresh and available locally.
Fish so fresh and a wide variety: halibut; turbot; crab; lobster; seatrout; salmon; cod; squid; haddock; mackerel; mussels; smoked fish and so on.
Lamb from the "toons" or hills, heather fed and succulent. We use local lamb.
We offer you honest, straightforward food made from the best ingredients. We serve you grand dining at reasonable rates.
After dinner don't be abrupted nor shocked by the asking for your desires as breakfast the next morning. Pierre simply wants to please you to start off your day agreeable.
We have no bar! But we do have a living room with a well-stocked drinks cabinet. There is also a decent malt selection and a choice of Shetland-brewed beers.
